Indorama Ventures is adding a new recycling line at its EcoMex joint venture facility in Guadalajara, Mexico, supplied by Amut. The line will clean 8,800 pounds per hour of landfill-sourced PET bottles and is scheduled to be operational in fall 2019.

Proplasa, a subsidiary of Mexican bottler Grupo GEPP, has installed flexible packaging machines from Italian manufacturer Amut, including three co-ex lines for blown PE shrink film and one cast line for stretch film, to produce over 14,000 tons/year of shrink film and over 4,500 tons/year of stretch film.

AMUT S.p.A. announced the merger by incorporation of Amut Dolci Bielloni, completing the integration of the Flexible Packaging Equipment Division into the AMUT GROUP. The company aims for a budget turnover of approximately €100 million in 2018.
