Manitou Group has acquired a majority stake in its UK dealer Mawsley Machinery Ltd, based near Northampton, following the retirement of the main shareholders. Mawsley Machinery had 2018 revenue of £19.2 million and 27 employees.

Manitou announced it is bringing its mobile elevating work platforms to the North American market. A new manufacturing plant is under construction near the existing plant in Candé, France, to support this initiative.

Manitou Group has begun construction of a new €26 million factory dedicated to aerial work platforms in Candé, France. The 18,000 m² facility is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2021.
