Hitachi acquired Flexware Innovation, a manufacturing systems integrator based in the United States, to strengthen its Industry 4.0 offerings in North America. The acquisition closed on August 31, 2022.

Hitachi, Ltd. acquired Flexware Innovation, Inc., a manufacturing systems integrator, on August 31, 2022. The acquisition strengthens Hitachi's MES and SCADA business in North America.

Flexware Innovation Inc., an automation engineering and software development firm, has acquired IPACT Inc. in Valparaiso, Indiana. Financial terms were not disclosed. IPACT will be rebranded under the Flexware name.
