Kraken Robotics Inc.

Kraken Robotics acquired 13 Robotics Ltda (13R), a Brazilian software development company focused on underwater robotics and autonomous systems, for $220,000 US. The acquisition provides Kraken with a South American base of operations.

Kraken Robotics signed a $36 million contract with the Danish Ministry of Defence to supply mine-hunting sonar equipment, including KATFISH towed Synthetic Aperture Sonar and ALARS, to the Royal Danish Navy.

Kraken Robotics has finalized the $18.8 million OceanVision project contract with Canada's Ocean Supercluster and industry partners. The three-year project focuses on underwater robotics data acquisition and analytics, with the Ocean Supercluster providing up to $6.3 million.

Avitas Systems, a GE Venture, and Kraken Robotics Inc. announced a strategic partnership to integrate autonomous underwater vehicles, sensors, and AI into subsea inspection solutions for oil and gas, offshore renewable energy, and shipping industries.
