HIPOWER SYSTEMS, a group company of Yanmar subsidiary HIMOINSA, has opened a new 515,000-square-foot manufacturing center in Olathe, Kansas, for generator sets. Production has begun with a capacity of 10,000 units per year.

HIPOWER SYSTEMS announced it is finalizing the purchase of a $24 million, 515,000 sq. ft. industrial building in Olathe, Kansas, for its new corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility. The company will invest an additional $11 million in machinery, with operations starting in September 2017 and up to 75 new jobs over the next few years.
