Sandhar Technologies' board approved the acquisition of the high-pressure and low-pressure aluminum die-casting businesses of Sundaram-Clayton Ltd. at its Hosur, India plant.

Sundaram Clayton Limited commenced operations at its mega manufacturing facility in Thervoy Kandigai near Chennai, India. The plant will manufacture precision aluminium die-cast components for next-generation automotive applications, including electric vehicle components.

Sundaram-Clayton Limited (SCL) unveiled its first U.S. manufacturing operations in Dorchester County, South Carolina, a greenfield aluminum die-cast foundry built with a $90 million investment. The facility will create up to 230 jobs and begin production in September 2019.

Sundaram Clayton placed an order with Sibar Auto Parts to supply automobile castings (pipe and valve) worth Rs 3,00,000 per month.

Sundaram-Clayton Ltd (SCL) announced a Rs 400 crore investment over three years to expand its domestic facilities in India, increasing production capacity from 60,000 MT to 70,000 MT.

Sundaram-Clayton Limited (SCL) will invest $50 million to build its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Ridgeville, South Carolina, creating 130 jobs. The plant will produce aluminum high-pressure die-cast and permanent mold gravity cast parts for automotive OEMs.
