Starrag

Metalex Manufacturing has selected Starrag to supply a large-capacity, multi-axis Droop+Rein portal-type machining centre for its new Center for Advanced Large Manufacturing in Cincinnati, Ohio. The machine is the largest ever installed by the contract manufacturer.

JJ Churchill ordered an additional Starrag LX051 5-axis machining centre to increase capacity for its Rolls-Royce contract. The machine is designed for turbine blade manufacture.

Chengdu Aerospace Plane Aviation Machinery Equipment Ltd. ordered a digitally networked flexible manufacturing system with six ECOSPEED F 2060 machining centers from Starrag Group for its aircraft factory in China. Installation will take place from January 2018 to summer 2019.

The Nuclear AMRC installed a Heckert HEC 800 HV MT multi-tasking machining centre supplied by Starrag UK. The machine enables milling, drilling and turning in a single set-up for research on test components.

Starrag USA received a contract from the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency to supply three Droop+Rein FOGS machining centers to the U.S. Navy by 2020. The contract includes two FOGS 85 and one FOGS 75 models.
