Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. (IMI) inaugurated a new 14,000-square meter manufacturing facility in Niska Banja, Niš, Serbia on September 29, 2018, to produce automotive electronic components.

Ayala Corporation's industrial unit, AC Industrial Technology Holdings Inc., has acquired MT Misslbeck Technologies GmbH, a German automotive supplier specializing in injection moulds and plastic parts. The acquisition supports Ayala's strategy in next-generation automotive technologies.

Integrated Micro-electronics (IMI), the manufacturing arm of Ayala, has agreed to acquire 80% of STI Enterprises Limited, a UK-based electronics manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, and energy industries.

Integrated Micro-Electronics Incorporated (IMI) plans to build a new manufacturing plant in Serbia with an investment of $33.9 million. Construction is expected to start in 2017, with production commencing in 2018, and the plant could employ 1,250 over 10 years.
