Mexican paper maker Biopappel, through its US subsidiary McKinley Paper Company, acquired 55 percent of US Corrugated Inc and subsidiaries. The amount was not disclosed, and the deal doubles Biopappel's US operations.

WestRock agreed to acquire five corrugated converting facilities in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Louisiana from U.S. Corrugated Holdings for about $192 million in cash and stock. The deal is expected to close in June 2017.
