Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. signed a nonbinding exclusivity agreement with partner CRH Plc to potentially acquire the majority of Lafarge Republic Inc. and related companies, including four Luzon-based cement plants.

DMCI Holdings Inc. expects to close its $305.6 million acquisition of Cemex Holdings Philippines Inc. by end-November 2024. The deal includes a tender offer for the remaining publicly-owned shares.
