SLB OneSubsea has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction contract by Equinor to upgrade the subsea compression system at the Gullfaks field in the Norwegian North Sea, replacing two compressor modules supplied in 2015.

Nekkar subsidiary Syncrolift received a notice of contract award from the Norwegian Defense Estate Agency to deliver a newbuild shiplift and subsequent service and maintenance for the Haakonsvern naval base in Bergen, with a combined value of NOK 205 million.

VARD has contracted TMC Compressors to supply a complete marine compressed air system for a newbuild cable laying vessel being built for Prysmian, with equipment made in the Nordic region and delivered to a VARD shipyard in Norway. The contract value was not disclosed.

MAN Energy Solutions received three orders from Aker Solutions and Aibel for seven compressor systems for Aker BP's Hugin A, Munin and Valhall PWP-Fenris platforms in the Norwegian North Sea.

Norway's Lorentzen Hydraulikk signed an agreement on 1 April 2022 to supply combi winches for a purse seine and trawl vessel being built by Bredgaard Boats in Denmark. It is the largest single contract in the Kabelvåg company's history.

Equinor has awarded MAN Energy Solutions a contract to supply a subsea compressor unit for the Åsgard gas field offshore Norway, to be developed and tested in Zurich with delivery planned for March 2023.

Aker Solutions will carry out engineering, procurement and construction for a fifth subsea compression module for Equinor's Åsgard gas field offshore Norway. The module is a copy of the fourth and is due for delivery in August 2024. The contract value was not disclosed, though reported as NOK 200-700 million.

TMC Compressors was awarded a contract by Hyundai Heavy Industries to supply 21 air lubrication system compressors and a control system for seven LNG carriers being built for Capital Gas Corp. The equipment will be manufactured in Norway and shipped to Korea.

Norwegian shipbuilder Vard awarded TMC Compressors of the Seas a contract to supply compressed air systems for two cruise ships being built for Viking Cruises. Deliveries are scheduled for 2021 and 2022. The contract value was not disclosed.

Norwegian firm Nessco AS was chosen as subcontractor to supply compressors, air dryers, pressure tanks and filter systems for the closed floating FishGLOBE v5 fish farm, being built in Stathelle, Telemark. The contract value was not disclosed.

TB Trykkluftteknikk delivered Atlas Copco compressors, including two 90 kW low-pressure units and one 132 kW unit, to MAPEI's new factory at Sagstua in Nord-Odal, Norway. The factory started production in 2019.
