Fairfax-backed Maxop Engineering has bought a majority stake in Pune-based Faith Automation Systems and Tooling, a design and engineering firm that automates production lines for vehicle manufacturers. The enterprise value is estimated at Rs 400-500 crore.

Festo India has begun supplying customers from its new manufacturing facility in Bairamangalam, Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu, from May 5, 2025. The INR 5.2 billion plant is expected to create 2,000 jobs once fully operational.
