Georg Fischer (GF) signed an agreement to acquire VAG-Group, a Mannheim-based maker of water utility valves owned by Aurelius. VAG has about 1,000 employees and annual sales of roughly EUR 200 million. The deal value was not disclosed in this announcement.

HUBER SE inaugurated its new production hall P3 at its headquarters in Berching/Erasbach, Germany, on 19 April 2023. The expansion lays the foundation for further growth and secures jobs.

Germany's Duker acquired Strate of Sarstedt, a manufacturer of sewage pumping stations, non-return valves and aeration valves for municipal and industrial use, in July 2022.

H+E GmbH, an Aquarion Group company in Stuttgart, has been awarded a contract to supply a reverse osmosis process water treatment plant with 120 m3/h capacity to an unnamed electric-vehicle manufacturer in Germany. Delivery and commissioning are scheduled for 2020.

French plumbing manufacturer SFA Group, parent of Saniflo, acquired Zehnder Pumpen GmbH, a German pump maker based in Grünhain-Beierfeld, Saxony. The acquisition is effective from 1 January 2019 and Zehnder will remain a separate legal entity.

Wärtsilä received an order for its dry waste and food waste treatment equipment for one new Saga Cruises vessel being built by Meyer Werft, with an option for a second vessel. The order was placed in September 2016.
