German industrial holding Nimbus agreed to acquire the Kompressortechnik unit of Hoerbiger, which makes compressor components for refrigeration and brake air systems, with operations in Germany, China and India and about 300 employees, mostly in Schongau. Closing is expected in early 2026; the price was not disclosed.

US fridge and air-conditioning group Carrier Global agreed to buy the core business of German heat pump maker Viessmann for about 12 billion euros ($13 billion), according to Reuters Breakingviews.

Danfoss has finalized its acquisition of BOCK GmbH, a maker of CO2 and low-GWP compressors, on 1 March 2023. BOCK's team of 400 staff joins Danfoss; the deal was first announced in late 2022.

Danfoss announced its intent to acquire compressor manufacturer BOCK GmbH of Frickenhausen, Germany, from private equity firm NORD Holding, expanding its natural refrigerant compressor portfolio; closing expected by Q1 2023.

Standard Motor Products acquired 100% of Kade Trading GmbH, a Glinde, Germany-based supplier of mobile temperature control components with about $6 million in 2021 revenue, funded from its revolving credit facility. The announcement was made on October 5, 2022.

Stiebel Eltron Group acquired PAW GmbH & Co. KG, a family-owned maker of heating, freshwater and flat-station distribution systems employing about 150 people in Hameln, Germany. Terms were undisclosed and Livingstone Partners advised on the sale.

Financial investor NORD Holding completed the purchase of compressor manufacturer GEA Bock from GEA Group on February 26, 2021, and the company now operates as Bock GmbH. The deal included the Frickenhausen headquarters and subsidiaries in China, India and the Czech Republic.

Stiebel Eltron agreed to acquire a majority shareholding in Zimmermann Lüftungs- und Wärmesysteme, a Freudenberg, Germany maker of heating and heat-recovery systems under the Proxon and Atarus brands.

GEA has agreed to sell compressor maker Bock, including Bock GmbH and its subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and India plus sites in China and Australia, to German private equity firm Nord Holding. Financial terms were not disclosed and closing is expected in early 2021.

NIBE Industrier signed an agreement to acquire 100% of German heat pump manufacturer WATERKOTTE GmbH, which operates in Herne and Georgsmarienhütte in Germany. The purchase price was not disclosed, and consolidation is expected from 1 April 2020. The announcement was made on 10 March 2020.

Nidec Corporation completed the acquisition of 100% of Secop Holding GmbH and other Secop entities, German compressor manufacturer, from Aurelius on July 31, 2017. The companies are being renamed Nidec Global Appliance entities.

Japanese motor maker Nidec plans to fully acquire the Secop group, a German refrigerator components maker, in a deal valued at $227 million. The move aims to capture demand from tightening environmental regulations.
