Semperit has held the groundbreaking for a hydraulic hose production expansion at its Odry plant in the Czech Republic. The investment is about EUR 110 million, adding roughly 32 million meters of annual capacity, for total capacity of almost 200 million meters, with completion planned in 2028.

Industrial distributor Rubix, a portfolio company of Advent International, acquired SEALL s.r.o., a Chomutov-based hydraulics and pneumatics distributor with five Czech locations and 65 employees.

Thimm, a packaging and display manufacturer, invested around ten million euros to expand its Všetaty plant in the Czech Republic with a new 134-metre MF-A corrugator from BHS Corrugated. The installation raised corrugated cardboard capacity at the site by up to 30%.

Colfax agreed to acquire CKD Kompresory a.s. of Prague from CKD Group for approximately $57 million including debt, to be merged into Howden as Howden CKD Compressors. Closing is expected in the fourth quarter.
