Shengxing Co. (002752.SZ) announced that it will establish subsidiary Shengxing (Ya'an) Packaging in the Ya'an economic development zone, Sichuan, to build an aluminum beverage can production project. The total estimated investment is about 180 million yuan, announced May 10, 2022.

Zhejiang Niudun Fluid Technology's new plant in Yongjia, Wenzhou, with total investment above 500 million yuan, entered pile foundation construction and is expected to partly start production by end-2022.

Guangdong GDA Valve Technology began construction on its GDA Digital Intelligent Manufacturing Base in Fusha Town, Zhongshan, for R&D and manufacturing of patented valves for smart heaters and ovens. The total investment is 210 million yuan, with expected annual output value of 400 million yuan.

COFCO Packaging (00906) plans a two-piece can factory in Shenyang with total investment of about RMB 600 million. Phase one is expected to start construction in the first half of 2022 with 1 billion cans a year capacity, and phase two adds 700 million cans a year.

Jiaxi Bella Compressor is building phase one of a production line in Jiaxing's Nanhu District, Zhejiang, for refrigerator and EV air-conditioning compressors and inverter controllers. The project has a reported investment of 300 million yuan and a construction period from Q4 2021 to Q4 2022.

J. Schmalz began manufacturing vacuum components and complete vacuum systems for automation and manual handling at its new China headquarters in Taicang on 2022-03-18. The site sits on a plot of about 27,000 square meters acquired in early 2020.

Hanon Systems is launching a new plant in Hubei, China, to manufacture HVAC modules for electrified vehicles, with about 6,000 square meters of space. Production is expected to begin in early 2023 and create about 100 local jobs.

Jiangsu Fujie Equipment Manufacturing broke ground on 2022-03-04 on a Phase II factory and office building in Wujiang District, Suzhou, with about 500 million yuan of investment. After completion it is to produce 6,000 sets of oil and gas wellhead devices and 40,000 valves per year.

Atlas Copco will invest RMB 3 billion to build a China headquarters and R&D and manufacturing plant for industrial compressors in Wuxi New District, with annual capacity of 163,000 units. The project was signed on February 21, 2022.

Midea Group began construction of a new energy vehicle auto parts base in Anqing, Anhui province, with a total investment of about 11 billion yuan ($1.74 billion). The base is designed to produce 60 million units of auto parts annually.

Chinese concrete machinery maker JIUHE Heavy Industry is building a new plant and heavy industry machinery industrial park in Jimo District, Qingdao, with a planned total investment of 600 million yuan over 173,500 square meters, with completion expected around March 2022.

Shangfa Valve (上阀股份) signed an agreement with the Changsanjiao (Huzhou) cooperation zone for a high-end intelligent industrial fluid control equipment manufacturing project with total investment of 1.2 billion yuan and annual output of 500,000 units. Signing took place on January 8, 2022.

Shanghai Valve Factory signed an agreement with the Yangtze River Delta (Huzhou) Industrial Cooperation Zone for a high-end smart fluid control equipment plant with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan and annual capacity of up to 500,000 units.

UFI Filters Group signed an agreement with the JiaXing XiuZhou High-Technology Industrial Park Administrative Committee for a new plant in Zhejiang Province producing filtration systems and thermal management products for new energy vehicles. The investment is valued at around 25 million euros, and production is set to start in 2023.

Grundfos will spend USD 100 million building a new high-end pump manufacturing plant in Changshu, Jiangsu province, expected to be ready by 2023 and at full capacity by 2026.

German compressor maker Bitzer is establishing a joint venture in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, to manufacture small-capacity rotary compressors in a 90,000 m2 plant under construction, with production planned for the first half of 2022.

Tunxi High-Pressure Valve Co broke ground on a project producing 10,000 tonnes of industrial forgings per year in the Huangshan high-tech zone, Anhui, China, on August 26, 2021. The project includes a 10,000 square metre plant and about 30 new machines.

Haite Power Co. is building a hydraulic pump and valve production plant in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, with a planned capacity of 400,000 hydraulic pumps and 800,000 hydraulic valves per year. The project is listed with an investment of about 2.091 billion CNY and is in main construction stage.

Switzerland-based SIG has finished building its second production plant in China, a site near its Suzhou Industrial Park plant. By 2024 it is expected to produce eight billion carton packs a year.

Yangquan Valve Co. began trial production at phase one of its 20,000-tonne large-diameter gas valve project in the Yangquan High-tech Zone, Shanxi, after equipment installation was completed. Phase one cost 160 million yuan and has already received an order from a Hebei company.

Shimadzu's Chinese subsidiary Tianjin Shimadzu Hydraulic has built a new factory in the Xiqing Economic-Technological Development Area of Tianjin to make hydraulic gear pumps and control valves for forklifts. The $20 million plant has capacity of 500,000 pumps and 200,000 valves a year, with full operation planned for October 2021.

Geko Flow Control Technology (Changzhou) held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new factory in Changzhou's Tianning District. The plant is planned to start in June 2022 with estimated annual output of 120 thousand control valve sets.

Ourgin announced a plan to invest about RMB 510 million in a two-piece can production project in Zaozhuang, Shandong, built in two phases. Phase one is expected to produce 800 million cans a year, and phase two adds another 800 million.

Shougang Toyota Industrial Air Conditioning Compressor, invested in by Toyota Industries, produced its first electric compressor at the Yantai Development Zone plant on May 4, 2021, targeting over 1 million units a year.

Construction is underway on Linuo's high-performance control valve production and R&D project in Ruian, Zhejiang, with total investment of 350 million yuan. Completion is expected in 2022 with annual output value of 1 billion yuan.

Guangdong Hande Precision Machinery began construction on its Section 2 compressor industry park in Yuanzhou town, Boluo County, Huizhou, as part of a batch of 17 industrial projects. The reported investment for the project is about 1.2 billion RMB, and the event took place on 3 March 2021.

Jiangxi Datong Refrigeration Equipment plans a compressor project in Jiujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone with a total investment of 160 million yuan, producing 2 million units per year on two production lines in about 13,000 square metres of leased space.

Fushite Hydraulic broke ground on Jan 21, 2021 on a 2.2 billion yuan project in the Shangrao Economic Development Zone to produce 50 million hydraulic parts a year and create over 500 jobs.

Renqiu Liyang Compressor Manufacturing has received government filing and land approval for a new CNY 200 million plant on 52.7 mu in Renqiu Economic Development Zone, Cangzhou, Hebei. The plant is designed to produce 30,000 compressors a year.

Germany's Wilo Group signed an agreement with Changzhou high-tech zone officials to build a plant with a total investment of 100 million US dollars for R&D, manufacturing and distribution. The plant is expected to produce over 1 billion yuan in annual sales.

Guangzhou Wanbao Compressor held a groundbreaking for a refrigerator compressor factory in Conghua district, Guangzhou, with about 1 billion yuan invested and capacity of 21 million units per year. Production is scheduled to start in October 2021.

Camfil Group is building a new state-of-the-art facility in Taicang city, Jiangsu province, China, as part of expanding its global operations.

Linde and the Dalian Bingshan Group signed an agreement to establish a joint venture manufacturing hydrogen refueling stations in Dalian, Liaoning, starting in 2021, tripling Linde's production capacity for these stations.
