Demon (Zhejiang) Gas Equipment Manufacturing held a groundbreaking ceremony on 20 May 2023 in Pinghu, Zhejiang, for a plant on over 20 mu of land. The 105 million yuan project will produce 5,000 intelligent industrial gas compressors a year.

Danfoss has opened a 7,000 square meter green refrigerants compressor laboratory in Tianjin for research and testing of commercial compressors, with a total investment of 140 million yuan. The opening was reported in the week before May 17, 2023.

Danfoss signed an agreement with the Haiyan county government in Zhejiang to begin building its second campus there. The local government funds the facility, which Danfoss leases and equips itself.
