Framatome won an Electrabel contract to modernise, maintain and support the three motor stators of the reactor coolant pumps at Tihange 3 and Doel 4, including spare parts supply.

Framatome was selected by Engie subsidiary Electrabel to modernise the Flux Monitoring System at unit 3 of the Tihange nuclear plant, including engineering, supply, installation and maintenance.

Doosan Lentjes has been awarded the contract to supply the turnkey mono sewage sludge treatment plant in Flanders, Belgium, for the Flemish utility Aquafin. The plant in the port of Ghent is scheduled to start commissioning in 2026 and will treat 65,000 tonnes of dry substance per year.

De Pretto Industrie was awarded an EPC contract by 2Valorise to supply a new steam system, replacing the steam turbine, gearbox, generator and related equipment at the Amel biomass power facility in Belgium.

Vestas received an order from Belwind N.V. for the 165 MW Bligh Bank Offshore Wind Farm, comprising 55 V90-3.0 MW turbines and a five-year service agreement, off Zeebrugge. The order was announced on 2009-10-31.

Norther N.V. took final investment decision on the 370 MW Norther offshore wind project and awarded MHI Vestas Offshore Wind a firm contract to supply 44 V164-8.4 MW turbines. The project is about 23 km off Zeebrugge and is due to be commissioned in 2019.
