Ball has agreed to sell its tinplate steel aerosol packaging facilities in Garin and San Luis, Argentina, to Envases del Plata. The transaction is expected to be completed later in 2019.

Exal Corporation agreed to sell Exal Packaging SA, its aerosol filling business in Garin, Argentina, to Argentine manufacturer Queruclor Group. The sale was completed on 7 August 2019 and clears the way for the Trivium Packaging joint venture with Ardagh Group.

Franklin Electric acquired Industrias Rotor Pump SA, an Argentinian maker and distributor of water pumping equipment, in Q3 2018.

Franklin Electric acquired Industrias Rotor Pump S.A., a Buenos Aires importer and maker of water pumping equipment that had about $21 million in sales in fiscal 2017. Results will be reported in the Water Systems segment from Q3 2018.

Tapì Group completed the acquisition of Tapì Argentina, moving from a minority stake to 90% ownership, with the remaining 10% held by CEO Mariano Paz. The Argentine plant will serve demand across South America.

Argentine food group Arcor, through Cartocor S.A., is acquiring 100% of Zucamor S.A., which runs seven industrial plants in Argentina making virgin fibre paper, sack kraft and corrugated board. The deal is subject to government approval.
