JFE Steel to build new continuous caster at Kurashiki works for JPY 40 billion

JFE Steel decided to install a new continuous caster at its West Japan Works (Kurashiki area) with a total investment of approximately JPY 40 billion. The caster will have an annual capacity of about 2 million tons and is scheduled to start operation in the second half of fiscal 2020.
