The Malta Sectoral Procurement Directorate awarded Multigas Ltd a €486,000 contract to supply, install and commission a vacuum insulated evaporator tank and associated equipment.
Malta's Department of Contracts awarded tender CT2195/2023 for soft one-piece close pouches to E.J. Busuttil Limited for EUR 424,620. Four bids were received.
Toly Group has completed a new 20,000 square metre manufacturing plant in Malta, with about €20 million invested, for beauty-industry packaging. The plant has space for 70 injection moulding machines and 25 assembly lines, and its official opening is planned for June 28, 2019.
AAR signed a multiyear Integrated Component Solutions agreement to provide full power-by-the-hour support for Air Malta's A320neo aircraft, including on-site inventory in Malta. The deal extends an existing relationship for Air Malta's A320ceo fleet.
Toly Group plans a new 15,000 m2 factory in Malta for 2018 costing EUR 15 million, which will raise its Maltese production capacity by 50%.
Simonds Farsons Cisk began operating a new beer packaging facility with canning and bottling lines at its Mrieħel brewery in Malta in September 2016. The plant cost €27 million ($37.05 million).
