Tecumseh do Brasil will invest R$80 million to start production of its VR3 refrigeration compressor in São Carlos, São Paulo, with R$64 million for capacity and R$16 million for R&D and line adaptation. First deliveries are planned for the second half of 2026.
Tecumseh do Brasil announced plans to build a compressor plant in the Manaus Free Trade Zone, with operations expected in the second half of 2027. The plant is planned to produce about one million compressors at full capacity and create 200 to 300 local jobs.
Tecumseh do Brasil, marking 50 years in Brazil, plans to invest more than R$75 million over the next three years in São Carlos to increase compressor production capacity and develop next-generation high-efficiency compressors for 2025 INMETRO standards.
