Opal Group opened stage one of its A$140 million corrugated cardboard packaging facility at the Logic Wodonga industrial estate in Barnawartha, Victoria, in November 2023, creating 432 jobs, with stage two planned to add capacity.
Opal Group, backed by parent Nippon Paper Group, is building a highly automated 47,000m2 corrugated cardboard packaging plant at a greenfield site in Wodonga, Victoria, as part of a total $140 million investment. Sod-turning took place in July 2022.
