Simed Medical, a subsidiary of Xinwei Medical, broke ground on a 1.34 billion yuan vascular intervention device R&D and production project in the Nanjing Biomedical Valley, Jiangsu Province. The facility will produce 800,000 femoral artery closure devices and 200,000 embolic coils annually.
