Greenlight Electricity Centre Limited Partnership

An Aecon-led consortium has been awarded a $1.2 billion EPC contract to build the first phase of the Greenlight Electricity Centre, a 932-MW combined-cycle natural gas plant in Sturgeon County, Alberta. Construction is scheduled to begin in Q3 2026, with commercial operation targeted for H2 2030.
