Electro-Alfa International

Electro-Alfa International and SGB-SMIT Group have completed and inaugurated the SGB-ALFA manufacturing facility in Botoșani, Romania, following an investment of approximately EUR 20 million. The plant manufactures oil-immersed distribution transformers and currently employs about 100 people, with plans to create over 200 direct jobs by 2027.

Electro-Alfa International has completed the takeover of SPIACT Craiova and Electro Alfa CM for over 9 million euros. Electro-Alfa holds 51% of SPIACT Craiova and 33% of Electro Alfa CM.

Electro-Alfa International completed the registration of its acquisition of 51% of Spiact Craiova, a railway electric equipment producer, for EUR 5.1 million. The sale-purchase agreement was signed on November 5, 2025.
