Sandvik and Alpha Metallurgical Resources announced a joint venture to build a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in West Virginia. The $25 million investment is expected to create at least 120 jobs, producing rock bolts and resin capsules.

Sandvik signed an agreement to form a joint venture with Alpha Metallurgical Resources to establish local manufacturing for ground support products in the US. Sandvik holds 51% and Alpha 49%. A new 100,000-square-foot facility in West Virginia will produce rock bolts and resin capsules.
