Fairbanks Morse Defense, through its subsidiary Hunt Valve, was awarded a contract worth about $2 million by Newport News Shipbuilding to supply parts for the Ford-class aircraft carriers CVN 78 to CVN 81. Deliveries are due in Q2 and Q3 2022. The company announced it on 5 April 2022.
