Net Power acquires EMPower's EPC agreement for 123 MW power facility
Net Power Inc. has closed the acquisition of EMPower USA, LLC's contractual rights under an EPC agreement with Saulsbury Industries for a 123 MW natural gas power generation facility, to be relocated to Project Permian in West Texas. Wärtsilä will supply ten reciprocating engine-generator sets.

Wärtsilä secured an order to supply generating sets for a new 123 MW gas-fired power plant in Odessa, Texas, with a ten-year operation and maintenance agreement. The contract was placed by Saulsbury Industries on behalf of EMPower USA.
