Gruvaktiebolaget Viscaria

Metso signed an agreement with Gruvaktiebolaget Viscaria to deliver key process equipment for the Viscaria copper mine in Kiruna, Sweden. The order is valued at approximately EUR 40 million.

Sandvik has been selected by Gruvaktiebolaget Viscaria to supply the production fleet and lifecycle services for the reopening of the Viscaria copper mine in Kiruna, Sweden. The order includes four Sandvik DL432i longhole rigs and four Toro LH621i loaders, plus automation and service contracts.

Sandvik won an order from Gruvaktiebolaget Viscaria to supply four longhole drills and four loaders with AutoMine automation, rock tools and a full service contract for the reopening of the Viscaria copper mine in Kiruna, Sweden. Deliveries begin January 2027 through August 2027.

Sandvik has received a large order from LKAB for cone crushers, double-deck screens, and vibrating feeders for a new ore sorting plant in Sweden. Deliveries are expected in Q2-Q3 2027, and the plant is expected to be operational in 2028, processing 24 million tonnes of magnetite ore and 1 million tonnes of hematite ore annually.

Viscaria signed a Long Lead Item agreement with Metso for two mills for the Viscaria copper mine in Kiruna, Sweden, valued at EUR 16 million.
