A Friedrich Vorwerk-led consortium with Austria's HABAU Group was awarded a contract by terranets bw to build a further 61 km section of the South German Natural Gas Pipeline (SEL). The order value is in the low triple-digit million euro range.
Friedrich Vorwerk Group SE won significant parts of the contract to build the 7-km FWS-West district heating pipeline in Hamburg, worth more than 70 million (currency not stated). The pipeline will carry heat from the planned Dradenau CHP plant under the Elbe and is expected to save 360,000 tons of CO2 annually by 2025.
