Ximin Glass breaks ground on $70 million glass factory in Egypt
Ximin Glass Egypt, a joint project between Elsewedy Industrial Development and Xinmin Glass Egypt (subsidiary of Anhui Xinmin Glass), began construction on a $70 million glass factory in Sokhna 360, SCZONE. The first phase, with over $30 million investment, is scheduled to commence operations in July 2026, with annual capacity of over 516 million pieces and over 3,000 jobs expected.
