A consortium of the GLEICH Aluminium Group and Heinrich Spahn, via the newly founded GLEICH 1 Verwaltungs GmbH, acquired the insolvent Mastel Aluminium Halbzeuge GmbH. The company will continue as Mastel Metall GmbH, with production at the Talheim site preserved and jobs secured.

Insolvency administrator Dr. Sebastian Mielke signed a purchase agreement for Mastel Aluminium-Halbzeuge GmbH, effective September 1, 2025. The acquiring company is GLEICH 1 Verwaltungs GmbH, which will jointly operate the business with W. Hartmann & Co. GmbH under the new name Mastel Metall GmbH.
