ABB acquires IPEC to expand predictive maintenance technology
ABB has agreed to acquire UK-based electrical diagnostics specialist IPEC, adding partial discharge monitoring technology to its Electrification Service portfolio. The transaction is expected to close in Q1 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.

ABB to acquire Rotork in $5.5B flow control deal
ABB has agreed to acquire UK-based Rotork for approximately $5.5 billion in an all-cash offer of 503 pence per share. Rotork will operate as a separate division within ABB's Automation business.
