ACTOM acquires SGB-SMIT Power Matla
ACTOM has acquired primary transformer manufacturer SGB-SMIT Power Matla (SSPM), enhancing its transformer manufacturing capabilities to include Class 3 units up to 500 MVA/500 kV. SSPM's Pretoria and Cape Town facilities will form the foundation for ACTOM's growth, with the Pretoria plant to be restored and upgraded after fire damage.
