General Organization for Cement and Building Materials

The Syrian Ministry of Economy and Industry signed an MoU with Iraqi investment group Vertex to rehabilitate and expand the Hama Cement plant, including raising a production line from 3,300 to 5,000 tpd and building a new 6,000 tpd line, with a total investment of about US$300 million.
