BillerudKorsnäs to acquire Verso for $825M to expand in North America
BillerudKorsnäs agreed to acquire Verso Corporation, a North American coated paper producer, for about USD 825 million in cash. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
