Pertamina awarded Honeywell UOP a contract to expand the capacity of its existing Unicracking units at the Balikpapan refinery to 60,000 barrels per day. The expansion is part of the same project.
Honeywell UOP will provide licensing and engineering for a 33,000 barrel-per-day CCR Platforming unit and a 47,000 barrel-per-day Unionfining hydrotreating unit for Pertamina's Balikpapan refinery in Indonesia. The announcement was dated February 1, 2017.
