Altri SGPS S.A. signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in AeoniQ, a cleantech spin-off of HeiQ Materials AG, to build the world's first industrial plant for climate-positive cellulosic filament yarn at Altri's Caima pulp mill in Portugal, with construction expected to begin in 2026.

Altri, a Portuguese cellulosic fibre producer, acquired a majority stake in Swiss firm AeoniQ to expand into sustainable textiles. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2025.
