NHK Spring is investing $55 million to build a new plant at the Castro del Río Industrial Park in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. The plant will manufacture automotive suspension springs and electric motor cores, and is set to be inaugurated on May 23, 2025, creating 233 direct jobs.

Japanese company SENYO confirmed a $20 million investment to establish a new plant in the Marabis Abasolo Industrial Park in Abasolo, Guanajuato, Mexico. The plant will create 70 direct jobs and is being built by developer Marabis with an 11,000 m² facility.
