Turkish steelmaker Bilecik Demir Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has applied for an environmental impact assessment for a project to increase its melt shop and rolling mill capacity in Bozüyük, Bilecik. The investment cost is TRY 95 million ($2.7 million), aiming to raise annual liquid steel capacity from 245,856 mt to 400,000 mt and rolling mill capacity from 238,038 mt to 388,000 mt.
