Niassa cement factory

President of Mozambique Filipe Nyusi inaugurated the first cement factory in Niassa province, located in Chimbunila district. The $20 million plant, built with Mozambican and Chinese capital, has a capacity of 200,000 tonnes of Portland cement annually and currently employs 100 workers.
