BSRM Steels

BSRM Steels Limited launched a new steel manufacturing facility in Mirsharai, Chittagong, on February 1, 2025. The plant adds 500,000 metric tons of rebars, 100,000 metric tons of wire rods, and 250,000 metric tons of billets annually. IDCOL disbursed BDT 500 crore to finance the plant.

BSRM Steels will start commercial operation of a new re-rolling mill at Mirsarai on January 1, 2025, with an annual capacity of 0.6 million tonnes of MS Rods, built at a cost of around $217 million.
