S7 Group's subsidiary Berdsk Electromechanical Plant (BEMZ) in Novosibirsk, Russia, has commenced production of composite fan blades for Western-built aero engines, including the CFM56. The facility is undergoing expansion with two stages of a 2 billion rouble investment program already completed.

Berdsk Electromechanical Plant (BEMZ), affiliated with S7 Group, invested 2 billion rubles in modernizing production of import-substituting aviation components. The investment includes a new 4,000 sq m warehouse for aviation components.
