Komatsu to acquire full ownership of UMW Komatsu Heavy Equipment
Komatsu Ltd. has decided to acquire all shares held by UMW Corporation in UMW Komatsu Heavy Equipment Sdn. Bhd. (UKHE), making UKHE a wholly owned subsidiary. The acquisition aims to strengthen Komatsu's competitiveness in construction and mining equipment markets in Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Brunei and Papua New Guinea.
