Reko Diq Mining

Wärtsilä will supply a 204 MW power plant with 12 Wärtsilä 50 engines for the Reko Diq copper-gold mining project in Balochistan, Pakistan, under an EPC contract. Equipment delivery is scheduled to begin in late 2026.

Metso signed a comprehensive frame agreement with Reko Diq Mining to deliver crushing and grinding circuits for the Reko Diq copper-gold project in Pakistan. The equipment packages are valued at EUR 200 million ($333 million).
