Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem)

Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) awarded a $169 million EPC contract to SGC E&C Co., Ltd. and SGC ARABIA COMPANY LIMITED for the expansion of Al Waha's propylene and polypropylene plants, adding 72,000 tons of propylene and 150,000 tons of polypropylene capacity.

International Polymers Company, affiliated to Sipchem, has awarded $187 million EPC contracts to SGC E&C and SGC Arabia for expanding its ethylene vinyl acetate plant. The expansion will add 70,000 tonnes of annual capacity, bringing total to 290,000 tonnes. Completion expected by Q4 2027.
