Pacifico Energy

Ansaldo Energia is expanding gas turbine manufacturing at its facilities in Genoa, Italy, as part of plans to increase production. The company also secured an order for eight AE64.3A gas turbines from Pacifico Energy for a data center power project in Texas.

Ansaldo Energia has signed a contract with Pacifico Energy to supply eight AE64.3A gas turbines and generators for a power generation project supporting a data centre in Texas. First deliveries are scheduled for 2027.

Pacifico Energy will seek to establish a major offshore windmill complex with a capacity of 3.2GW near the southwest coast of South Korea, as part of a $610 million investment from three U.S. firms announced on June 26, 2024.
