The Mewa Group, a textile service provider, acquired Bocholter Weberei-Vorwerk Siemen GmbH & Co. KG, a specialist in yarn finishing with production facilities in Germany. Siemen will largely continue to operate in its current form.

MEWA Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for a 7,000-square-meter expansion of its textile service facility in Schwechat, Austria. The company is investing €55 million in the project, which will create the most modern wiping cloth service operation in Europe.
