Primetals Technologies to supply Wuyang Iron and Steel with record-breaking continuous caster
Chinese steelmaker Wuyang Iron and Steel, a subsidiary of HBIS Group, has placed an order with Primetals Technologies for a single-strand continuous casting machine (CCM) with record-breaking features. The unit will be installed at Wuyang's plant in Wuhan, Hunan Province, and is scheduled to launch in 2025.

Wuyang Iron and Steel has placed an order with Primetals Technologies for a 1-strand continuous caster with record-breaking features, to be installed at its plant in Wugang, Hunan province. The caster will produce slabs up to 460 mm thick with an annual capacity of 1 million tons.
